Deputy Fired over Twin Peaks Photo (FOX 7 Austin)

The Williamson County District Attorney's office has decided not to file criminal charges against several Midland Sheriff Deputies who gave took a picture of a Twin Peaks waitress holding an assault rifle. The deputy who handed his rifle to the waitress has been terminiated while the other deputies have been disciplined.

A Midland County sheriff's deputy was fired after police say he and four other deputies asked a waitress to take a picture with one of their service rifles while they were visiting a restaurant in Round Rock last week, Midland Sheriff Gary Painter said.

ABC News has confirmed Brett Favre got on a plane with a Minnesota Vikings logo at Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport in Mississippi. Witnesses say both Favre and his wife Deanna boarded the aircraft around 9 a.m. They are expected to arrive in the Twin Cities around noon.

Chase Buchanan of New Albany, Ohio, defeated Ryan Lipman of Nashville, Tenn., 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, to win the United States Tennis Association's boys 18 division national championship in Kalamazoo on Sunday. Gonzales Austin of Miami beat Jack Sock of Lincoln, Neb., 3-6, 7-5, 6-0, to win the 16 singles title.
